A leading European-owned commodities trading company with a global presence and specializing in a comprehensive range of precious metals products is seeking an Finance & Operation Officer to complement its newly established back office team in Singapore. The successful candidate will cover the daily Accounting, Business Control and Transaction Processing operations of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Main tasks and responsibilities will relate to activities that cover all aspects of accounting including booking keeping, reconciliation, APs, ARs, payments financial analysis, internal and external reporting tax (including GST), all aspects of settlement for front office including customer/counter-party confirmations, inputting, payments, handling customer queries, investigations, all aspects of system support including start and end of day processes, backup and all aspects of office administration including vendor management, supplies.
- Fast phase working enviroment.
- Able to work late.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Acctountancy
- At least 2-3 years of experience in handling full set of accounts
- Competent in meeting deadlines and with positive attitude
- Available immediately or within short period
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
