The Job:
- Review of License and Professional Services Orders for compliance with Revenue Recognition Policy and make necessary accounting adjustments
- Active involvement working with Sales to Structure deals to maximize revenue recognized
- Conduct revenue training to Sales and other departments
- Month End Close Activities and Statutory Audits, including key process reconciliations and liaising with auditors;
- Sarbanes-Oxley and other policy issues;
- Active in suggesting Process Improvements and Streamlining;
- Any other ad hoc assignments as and when assigned.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy
- Fluency in both spoken and written Japanese Language with at least JLPT 2
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Revenue Accounting within a Software environment
- Strong working knowledge of SOP97-2
- Good working experience with Oracle 11i, Business Objects, Microsoft Excel and Access
- Proven records of analyzing key processes for deficiencies and implementing remedial action plans is essential
- Specific dealings with Asia Pacific and Japan markets
- You must have excellent communications, strong analytical skills, be highly motivated and results-oriented
- You must be professional and mature in dealing with confidential and sensitive information
