Our Client, in the IT industry, is looking for GL Accountant.
The ROLE
- Responsible for the General Ledger function
- Check manual journals and ensure they are duly supported before entries are booked into GL
- Manage and review inter-companies reconciliation and confirmation
- Co-ordinate with sub-ledger owners to close sub-ledgers on stipulated timelines
- Prepare and review monthly trial balance, income statement and balance sheet
- Prepare month and quarter-end reporting requirements including submission of results
- Prepare monthly audit and asset closing schedules
- Responsible for quarterly GST submission
The Pre-Requisites
- Degree in Accountancy/ ACCA
- At least 5 years of GL/ full sets experience in MNC
- Able to handle high volume and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently as well as in a team with supervisory skills
