Financial Counsel

Responsibilities
  • Provide financial counsel to the Business Group leaders and teams
  • Develop, drive and attain the Business Group's targets in the Strategic Plan, Annual Operating Plan, Quarterly Operating Reviews (QOR's) and Monthly Rolling Estimates (MRE's)
  • Work closely with all key stakeholders to achieve the established actions plans to drive efficient growth
  • Work closely with the manufacturing organization in order to drive cost down
  • Provide analysis of operating department budgets and counsel
  • Provide financial analysis of investment opportunities, new product opportunities, new business model, acquisitions and divestitures, pricing etc.
  • Articulate results of financial analysis, influencing business thinking, and negotiating outcomes to ensure business results attainment
  • Develop, drive & attain pricing strategies
  • Influence and drive appropriate rebate structures
  • Proactively develop analysis and work with business to drive change
  • Assure full compliance with U.S. GAAP and Global Financial Standards
  • Partner with the Businesses and escalate issues as needed
Qualification
  • Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited university in Business Administration, Economics or Finance
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the area of Business Finance
  • Solid analytical skills
  • Strong English communication skills, written and verbal
  • Business knowledge and acumen
  • Strategic thinking mindset
  • Self starter with ability to drive change
  • SAP experience would be a plus
  • Proactive and assertiv
