Financial Counsel
Responsibilities
- Provide financial counsel to the Business Group leaders and teams
- Develop, drive and attain the Business Group's targets in the Strategic Plan, Annual Operating Plan, Quarterly Operating Reviews (QOR's) and Monthly Rolling Estimates (MRE's)
- Work closely with all key stakeholders to achieve the established actions plans to drive efficient growth
- Work closely with the manufacturing organization in order to drive cost down
- Provide analysis of operating department budgets and counsel
- Provide financial analysis of investment opportunities, new product opportunities, new business model, acquisitions and divestitures, pricing etc.
- Articulate results of financial analysis, influencing business thinking, and negotiating outcomes to ensure business results attainment
- Develop, drive & attain pricing strategies
- Influence and drive appropriate rebate structures
- Proactively develop analysis and work with business to drive change
- Assure full compliance with U.S. GAAP and Global Financial Standards
- Partner with the Businesses and escalate issues as needed
Qualification
- Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited university in Business Administration, Economics or Finance
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the area of Business Finance
- Solid analytical skills
- Strong English communication skills, written and verbal
- Business knowledge and acumen
- Strategic thinking mindset
- Self starter with ability to drive change
- SAP experience would be a plus
- Proactive and assertiv
