CapitaMalls Asia is the retail real estate business unit of the CapitaLand Group, which is one of Asia's largest real estate companies by market capitalisation. CMA is one of the largest listed shopping mall developers, owners, and managers in Asia. We have interest in and manage a pan-Asian portfolio of 89 shopping malls across 49 cities in the five countries of Singapore, China, India, Japan and Malaysia, with a total property value of approximately S$22.6 billion and a total gross floor area (GFA) of approximately 70.6 million square feet.

In Malaysia, CapitaMalls Asia has interest in a listed entity of CapitaMalls Malaysia Trust in Malaysia which owns and managers a portfolios of 3 properties, i.e. Gurney Plaza in Penang, The MINES in Selangor and Sungei Wang Plaza (61.9% of the total strata area) in Kuala Lumpur. The three properties had formed the seed assets for the proposed CapitaLand-sponsored pure-lay Malaysian retail real estate investment trust.

Due to our rapid expansion, we are looking for high caliber candidates to be part of our Malaysia operations for the following position.

Location : Kuala Lumpur - Ascott KL, Jalan Pinang

Responsibilities :
  • To perform variety of regular & recurring accounting functions requiring professional competency.
  • To handle full set of account with minimum supervision.
  • To assist in managing daily treasury function, monitor & maintain updated treasury report.
  • To assist in monthly, quarterly & yearly reporting preparation as well as annual budgeting activities.
  • To ensure timely reporting & assist in adhoc duties assigned from time to time.
  • To liaise with auditor, tax agent, government authorities and bankers.

Requirements :
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
  • At least 2 year(s) of relevant working experience preferably in service industry.
  • Preferably candidates with SAP accounting experience.
  • Ability to work within tight deadline for monthly reports and related adhoc activities.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Meticulous and attention to details.
  • Independent & strong team member.
