Sisma can be traced back to 1974 when it was a small trading company. Over the last three decades, the business activities grew and diversified into Strategic Business Units (SBU) within an overall well organized Group.
These SBU's cover Automotive, Beverage, Retail, with Oil and Gas sector being its infant. The head office is based in the golden oil triangle of Kuala Lumpur, in its own building.
The Retail SBU includes high end lifestyle goods and accessories including luxury watches, clothing and vehicles. Business invloves both imports and exports.
The Sisma Group is seeking for an experienced Trade Finance Officer to deal with all trade transactions including liaising with financial institutions.
Responsibilities :
- To perform day-to-day operational tasks of trade finance transactional processing.
- To deliver services in line with agreed service standards documented between the Company’s traders and the Banks on Letter of Credit and Bank Guarantee.
- To liaise with internal customers on their trade requirements and maintain good rapport with them at all times.
- To ensure compliance with guidelines and policies as documented in the Bank’s Manuals as well as external rules and regulations governing trade finance operations.
Requirements :
- Minimum Diploma holder in any discipline, preferably in finance and trade.
- Those without relevant working experience but is willing to learn will also be considered.
- Familiar with financial institutions internal/external guidelines and policies covering trade operations would be an added advantage.
- Able to demonstrate good teamwork amongst staff.
- Able to perform multi-tasking and work under pressure
