Our client, an established info-communication company located in the EAST is currently seeking for suitable candidates for the various Accounting positions.
Position 1: Accounts Officer
- Process day-to-day payment to vendors
- Accrual of monthly expenditures for invoices not taken up in the AP system
- Preparation of audit schedules for accrual and expenses account
- Preparation of creditors reconciliation on major vendors on a monthly basis
- Attending to internal and external parties queries
- Preparation of ad-hoc reports required
- At least a Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
- A minimum of 1 - 2 years’ of working experience in a commercial firm
- Strong computer literacy, experience in SAP is an added advantage
- Meticulous, analytical and able to work under pressure
- Experience in telco industry will be an advantage
- Team Player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ensure proper accounting and completeness in postpaid and prepaid revenue
- Ensure revenue accounting complies with Group policy and updated FRSs
- Provide monthly qualifying revenue for mobile rewards computation
- Provide monthly intra-company billing and review of mobile usage standing accrual
- Ensure proper GL code is provided for new mobile products
- Monthly accounting for IDD cost
- Monthly reconciliation of Accounting revenue vs RBL revenue (Product)
- Involve in monthly, quarterly and annual closing, analysis and reporting
- Provide timely audit schedule review and update
- Perform User Acceptance Test (UAT) for projects that affect revenue account
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent with minimum 2 years of relevant revenue accounting experience
- Resourceful and numerate with excellent Excel spreadsheet skills
- Preferably with knowledge in SAP accounting system
- Able to multi task and work under pressure and tight timelines
- Organised, meticulous and able to work independently
- Team player with confidence and maturity to work effectively with different levels of staff
- Excellent spoken, written and interpersonal skill
Position 3: Accountant – Inventory Accounting
- Ensure timely overall compilation of inventory data for monthly inventory revenue and cost accounting closing in financial books.
- Provide inventory revenue and cost performance analysis report to the product and management team for review of product performance.
- Review monthly audit schedules and answer to internal and external audit requests.
- Review daily stock reconciliation reports.
- Ensure proper accounting bundled products and intercompany charging.
- Plan, organise, co-ordinate annual stock-take, and perform stock-take reconciliation.
- Ensure smooth flow of Inventory system and process flow by liaising or co-ordinating with product, logistics and operation teams to ensure established accounting procedures are followed.
- Review revenue and cost recognition policies and existing system processes to ensure adherence to standards/regulations and to improve process efficiency.
- Provide finance support for new product or promotion launches that affect inventory accounting
- Perform User Acceptance Test (UAT) for projects that affect inventory accounting.
- Supervise a team of staff and oversee the team’s functions.
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience with some supervisory exposures.
- Prior inventory accounting or management experience will be highly preferred.
- Able to initiate, respond and react to operational issues that affect inventory.
- Resourceful and numerate with excellent Excel spreadsheet skills.
- Preferably with knowledge in SAP accounting system.
- Able to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Organized, meticulous and able to work independently.
- Team player with confidence and maturity to work effectively with different levels in the organization.
- Excellent oral, written, leadership and interpersonal skills.
- 5 days work week
