SPE Networks - Asia is established in 1997 as the Asia headquarters operating a total of six channel brands in the region, all wholly-owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment.
It brings to viewers exciting TV entertainment programme lineups that include top U.S. dramas, entertainment and reality series, blockbuster movies as well as original productions like The Amazing Race Asia, through its portfolio of six channel brands - AXN, Animax, Sony Entertainment Television, AXN Beyond, PIX and PIX Thriller.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivables and collections (including review of billings)
- Review and prepare monthly audit schedules and accruals
- Liaise with external auditors and / or tax agents / colleagues on quarterly and year-end reporting
- Assist in the documentation / implementation of Sarbanes Oxley controls; and refine work processes for work efficiency
- Undertake ad-hoc projects and responsibilities as assigned from time to time
- At least 3 to 5 years of post qualification experience in the area of Accountancy
- Meticulous, independent, resourceful, organized and a good team player
- Able to deliver results under tight deadlines
- Knowledge of SAP and experience in managing a small team will be an advantage
